About the Community of Edina

Parks:
Edina’s parks and open spaces total more than 1,550 acres. The Edina Park and Recreation Department oversees 39 parks, which include amenities such as;

- basketball and tennis courts
- outdoor skating rinks
- playground equipment for young children; and picnic shelters.

Edinborough Park, which is city operated, is a one-of-a-kind cultural and recreational center for all seasons. The park includes a pool, running track, children's playground, amphitheater, multipurpose area and kitchen surrounded by trees and greenery of enclosed park.
